Hey, I’m Kayla!

I’m a graduate student in the Master of Counseling program at OSU-Cascades, where I’ve gained experience working with a diverse range of clients through the OSU-Cascades Counseling Clinic. I’m passionate about creating a collaborative, supportive space where clients can connect with their inner wisdom and innate strength.

My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story. I believe that through self-exploration and self-nurturing, we can develop a deeper understanding of ourselves—leading to greater acceptance, self-love, and confidence in moving forward.

I use a strengths-based, person-centered framework, integrating parts work and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help reframe unhelpful thought patterns and build a more empowering relationship with yourself. I bring a warm, attentive presence to my work and see it as a true privilege to walk alongside clients on their journey toward growth and healing.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy reading, reality TV, walking outside, live music, and spending time with my dog, Olly. I also love arts and crafts, calligraphy, puzzles, and game nights with friends.
