Hey, I’m Khatren!
Khatren works with teens and adults of all genders who are navigating chronic illness, grief and loss, ambiguous loss, anxiety, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, and people-pleasing. She offers a warm, supportive space where clients can slow down, process what they’re carrying, and build healthier patterns with greater confidence and clarity.
Hey, I’m Khatren!
I’m a master ’s-level clinician with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University. My experience includes working with a diverse range of individuals, including those who struggle with chronic illness, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, painful relationship patterns, trauma, and grief and loss.
Having personal experience with chronic illness, I bring a deeper level of understanding and compassion to the challenges that can come with navigating chronic health conditions, especially the frustration and isolation that can occur when those experiences feel minimized or misunderstood.
My therapeutic style is relational, person-centered, and compassion-focused. I believe healing happens within safe, attuned relationships, and I prioritize creating a warm, collaborative space where you feel seen, understood, and supported. I integrate techniques such as relational therapy, CBT, and DBT to help you uncover and address patterns linking past experiences to present challenges. I take a validating, strengths-based approach that reduces shame while building practical systems that work with your unique brain and lifestyle- not against it.
Outside the therapy space, you can find me spending the majority of my time outdoors, whether that's climbing, hiking, or going on backpacking trips with my dog, Roux.
